How We Operate
We conduct fortnightly auctions on Sundays at our auction room, commencing at 12 noon. To find out the date of our next auction, go to the Upcoming Auctions page.
You can view a list of items in the next auction by going to the Catalogue page. A list of items in the next Feature Auction can be viewed on the Feature Auction page.
You can view items for an auction between 9am and 5pm on the Saturday before the auction or from 9am on the day of the auction (Sunday).
Interested vendors who want to place items for auction can deliver them to our rooms Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm. Or we can offer our pick-up/delivery service. We then receipt your items and sell them for you at our next auction.
Our Commission fee for selling goods is 16.5% (including GST). This fee covers the costs of setting up, bookwork, Lotting Fees, advertising & auctioning.
Vendors then receive payment 10 working days later with a printed statement of all the individual items that have been sold.
Buyers are to pay a Premium of 13.75% (including GST) this is to be paid on top of the Hammer Price.
Victoria House Auctions also specialize in On Site and Clearance Sales. These include many Farm Auctions (machinery, tools, etc) and House Auctions (contents).
